DERMICA PEN is a medical microneedling device used at MUDr. Šimek's Olomouc clinic for non-surgical skin rejuvenation. Unlike microneedling carried out in beauty salons, this treatment is performed in a plastic surgery setting where needle depth, speed, and cartridge sterility are precisely controlled. The device uses an 11-needle cartridge oscillating at 25–90 punctures per second across 7 speed settings, with adjustable penetration depth from 0.25 to 2.5 mm. This controlled micro-injury induces the skin's collagen-remodelling response, reducing wrinkles, improving skin texture, treating post-acne scarring, and addressing keloid formation.
