Full Spine MRI

The full spine MRI at PrivatHospitalet Danmark covers all three spinal segments in one appointment: cervical (C1-C7), thoracic (T1-T12), and lumbosacral (L1-S1). At 6,300 DKK (before 6% surcharge) this package is priced below the cost of three separate single-region scans (7,875 DKK) or two regions plus an additional (6,563 DKK).

This examination is relevant for patients with multilevel symptoms, scoliosis assessment, inflammatory spondyloarthropathy (where disease affects the entire axis), post-traumatic screening after significant injury, and oncology patients requiring full spinal staging. The radiologist reviews all three segments as an integrated study, noting cross-segment patterns such as compensatory changes and multilevel degenerative disease.

Total scan time is approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Each segment receives its full dedicated protocol including sagittal T1, T2, STIR sequences and targeted axial images. The Philips 1.5T scanner provides consistent image quality across the extended scan length.
