Upper Abdomen MRI

Prescan's upper abdomen MRI provides detailed imaging of the solid abdominal organs without ionising radiation. The examination covers the liver (parenchyma, focal lesions), gallbladder and proximal biliary system, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and adrenal glands.

Using AI Deep Resolve technology, the scan achieves high-resolution images that enable detection of focal lesions, cysts, and structural abnormalities across all upper abdominal organs. The examination is performed without oral or IV contrast for the standard protocol, making it well tolerated and accessible.

This scan is commonly booked as part of a broader preventive screening programme, or by patients with specific upper abdominal symptoms who want a radiation-free alternative to CT.
