The whole-body MRI at PP Diagnostyka provides head-to-toe imaging in a single extended session, covering the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and major musculoskeletal structures. At 3,800 PLN, this is one of the most affordable whole-body MRI options in Central Europe. The examination uses a multi-station acquisition technique, imaging the body in overlapping segments that are then composited into a continuous dataset. Sequences are optimized for each body region — FLAIR for the brain, T2/STIR for the spine and bone marrow, breath-hold sequences for the abdomen, and dedicated joint protocols for major articulations. Whole-body MRI is increasingly used as a screening tool for asymptomatic individuals seeking a comprehensive health baseline, for cancer surveillance in patients with a history of malignancy (particularly for bone metastasis detection), and for systemic conditions such as lymphoma staging and chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis. The radiation-free nature of MRI makes it suitable for repeated surveillance without cumulative dose concerns. Total examination time is approximately 90 to 120 minutes. The radiologist produces a comprehensive report covering all body regions with findings documented by anatomical system.
