MRI of a single hip joint evaluating the femoral head, acetabular labrum, articular cartilage, and surrounding musculature at 850 PLN.
The hip joint MRI at PP Diagnostyka provides detailed imaging of the femoral head and neck, acetabulum, labrum, articular cartilage, hip joint capsule, and surrounding tendons and bursae. The protocol includes coronal, sagittal, and axial sequences optimized for hip anatomy. The examination detects labral tears, cartilage defects, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, femoroacetabular impingement (cam and pincer morphology), stress fractures, gluteal tendinopathy, and inflammatory arthritis changes. In younger patients, it is essential for diagnosing labral pathology and impingement before they progress to irreversible osteoarthritis. For bilateral hip assessment, patients can book both hips at 1,600 PLN — a saving of 100 PLN compared to two individual bookings. Sacroiliac joint MRI is available separately at 850 PLN for patients with suspected spondyloarthropathy.
