MRI of the cervical spine (C1-C7) evaluating intervertebral discs, spinal cord, nerve roots, and vertebral bodies. Single-section pricing with multi-section packages available.
The cervical spine MRI at PP Diagnostyka provides detailed visualization of the seven cervical vertebrae, their intervertebral discs, the spinal cord, exiting nerve roots, and supporting ligamentous structures. Standard sequences include sagittal and axial T1 and T2-weighted images, plus STIR for bone marrow pathology. The examination detects disc herniations, protrusions, and extrusions that may compress the spinal cord or nerve roots; foraminal stenosis causing radiculopathy; spinal cord signal changes suggesting myelopathy; vertebral body fractures (acute or chronic); and facet joint arthropathy. The cervical spine is particularly important in patients with arm symptoms, as cervical radiculopathy from disc herniation is one of the most common causes of arm pain and numbness. PP Diagnostyka offers significant savings for multi-section studies: two spinal sections for 1,350 PLN (vs. 1,400 PLN individually) and three sections for 1,800 PLN (vs. 2,100 PLN individually). A combined head plus cervical spine package is available at 1,450 PLN.
