A Q-Switch Tri-Beam laser that delivers very short, high-power pulses to break up unwanted pigment in the skin. It is used to fade and remove tattoos and permanent makeup, to treat melasma and other pigmentation, and for a brightening carbon-laser peel. The pigment is shattered into tiny particles the body gradually clears, so a series of sessions is normally required for full results.
About this treatment
The Q-Switch Tri-Beam is a laser that emits extremely short, high-energy pulses measured in nanoseconds. These rapid pulses are absorbed by pigment in the skin — whether tattoo ink, the pigment of permanent makeup, or the excess melanin of melasma and sun spots — and shatter it into microscopic particles without significantly heating the surrounding skin. The body's immune system then gradually clears those particles over the weeks that follow.
At P & P Beauty Clinic the laser is used for several pigment-related concerns: fading and removing tattoos and permanent makeup, lightening melasma, freckles and other pigmentation, and performing a carbon-laser ('carbon peel') treatment in which a thin carbon layer is applied and then targeted to exfoliate, refine pores and brighten the complexion.
