FUE Hair Transplant

An FUE (follicular unit extraction) hair transplant is a day procedure that redistributes your own hair to restore density where it has been lost. Individual follicular units — natural groupings of one to four hairs — are harvested one at a time from the 'donor' area at the back and sides of the scalp, where hair is genetically resistant to thinning, using a fine punch that leaves only tiny, scattered marks rather than a linear scar. The grafts are then placed into the thinning or bald 'recipient' area at an angle and density designed to look natural.
