The Endermologie LPG programme at POWAB Clinic is a non-invasive mechanical body contouring treatment developed by LPG Systems (France) and FDA-cleared for temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite and localised fat deposits. The treatment uses a motorised handpiece equipped with independent rotating rollers and calibrated suction to create a deep, rhythmic mobilisation of the skin, subcutaneous fat, and connective tissue — a technique proprietary to LPG called lipomassage or endermologie. During each 45-minute session, the patient wears a thin, full-body compression suit (provided by the clinic) that serves as a hygienic interface between the skin and the device while also reducing friction to allow the rollers to move freely. The practitioner guides the handpiece across targeted body zones — commonly the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, flanks, and upper arms — adjusting suction intensity and roller speed to each area's tissue density and treatment goals. The mechanical action folds and unfolds the skin tissue in a wave-like motion, creating alternating compression and decompression that stimulates three simultaneous physiological responses. First, the mechanical stimulation activates adipocyte lipolysis — the release of stored triglycerides from fat cells — by triggering mechanotransduction pathways in the subcutaneous tissue. Second, the rhythmic suction and rolling action stimulates lymphatic flow and venous return, accelerating the clearance of interstitial fluid and metabolic waste that contribute to the puffy, dimpled appearance of cellulite.
