Surgical Lip Correction (Reduction or Enhancement)

MUDr. Tomáš Doležal performs the procedure under local anesthesia at the Prague 3 clinic, with the upper or lower lip from 15,000 Kč and both lips from 25,000 Kč. Incisions are placed inside the mouth or along the wet-dry border so scars stay hidden, and the result, unlike hyaluronic acid filling, does not need repeating every few months.

Most lip enhancement today is done with temporary hyaluronic acid fillers — effective, but requiring repeat treatment every 6–12 months indefinitely. Surgical lip correction is the structural alternative: a one-time procedure that permanently adjusts lip volume and shape, in either direction. **Lip reduction (from 15,000 Kč per lip):** For congenitally full lips, or lips left overfilled or irregular after repeated filler treatments, a measured strip of tissue is removed through an incision inside the mouth at the wet-dry junction. The lip is reshaped to the agreed proportion and closed with fine dissolving sutures. **Surgical lip enhancement (from 15,000 Kč per lip):** For thin lips, techniques such as lip lift or mucosal advancement (V-Y plasty) roll the red lip outward and increase visible vermilion height permanently — using the patient's own tissue, with no foreign material to migrate or be reabsorbed. **Both lips (from 25,000 Kč):** Upper and lower treated in one session at a combined price. **Recovery:** Lips swell noticeably for the first 3–7 days — plan social downtime accordingly — and settle to the final shape over 4–6 weeks. Eating is adjusted to soft foods for the first days, and oral hygiene with antiseptic rinses keeps intraoral incisions clean.
