About this treatment
Breast ptosis — sagging caused by skin stretching and volume loss after pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight change, or simply ageing — cannot be corrected by exercise or skincare, because the issue is excess skin envelope relative to breast volume. A mastopexy surgically removes the redundant skin, reshapes the internal breast tissue, and moves the nipple-areola complex upward to a natural position.
Technique
The incision pattern depends on the degree of ptosis: periareolar (around the areola) for mild sagging, vertical 'lollipop' for moderate, and an anchor pattern for severe ptosis.
