About this treatment
After substantial weight loss — and sometimes simply with age — the skin of the upper inner arms and inner thighs loses elasticity and hangs in loose folds ('bat wings' on the arms, rubbing skin folds on the thighs). Because the problem is surplus skin rather than fat, liposuction alone often worsens the laxity; the definitive correction is surgical excision: brachioplasty for the arms, thigh lift for the legs.
Arm lift / brachioplasty (from 55,000 Kč)
Through an incision running along the inner arm from armpit toward the elbow (length matched to the extent of laxity), excess skin and subcutaneous fat are removed and the arm contour re-tensioned. The scar is positioned on the inner surface where it faces the body and is hidden in normal posture and short sleeves.
