About this treatment
Botulinum toxin type A selectively blocks neuromuscular transmission by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine at motor nerve terminals. Preparation required
No aspirin or NSAIDs 48 hours before. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before. Do not massage the treated area for 24 hours after injection. Stay upright for four hours post-treatment.
