nStride Autologous Protein Solution (APS) concentrates anti-inflammatory proteins from the patient's blood to directly counteract the biochemical processes driving knee osteoarthritis pain and cartilage breakdown.

About this treatment

nStride APS (Autologous Protein Solution) is a next-generation regenerative injection therapy offered at Pinnacle Orthopaedic Group, specifically engineered to target the inflammatory environment inside arthritic joints. Unlike PRP, which delivers a broad spectrum of growth factors, nStride APS uses a proprietary Biomet system to extract and concentrate specific anti-inflammatory proteins — including interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1Ra) and other…

Knee osteoarthritis is driven in part by an excess of pro-inflammatory cytokines, particularly interleukin-1 (IL-1), which destroy cartilage and amplify pain signals. nStride APS counteracts this by flooding the joint with high concentrations of the natural proteins that block IL-1 activity, helping to restore a healthier biochemical balance within the joint and slow the cycle of cartilage degradation.

The procedure is completed in a single clinic visit. A blood sample is drawn, processed through the nStride system to produce the concentrated protein solution, and then injected into the knee under sterile conditions. The entire process takes approximately 60 minutes. Clinical studies have demonstrated sustained pain relief and functional improvement in knee osteoarthritis patients for up to 12–24 months following a single injection, making nStride a…
