The visible restoration stage of implant treatment, in which a full-ceramic crown is fitted onto an integrated implant to rebuild a natural-looking tooth. Once the implant has healed, the clinic uses digital scanning to design a crown that matches the shape and shade of the surrounding teeth, with an individually contoured healing abutment shaping the gum for a clean emergence. A temporary crown can bridge the gap during fabrication. The result restores chewing and appearance on the implanted tooth.

About this treatment

After a dental implant has integrated with the jawbone, a crown is attached to it to complete the replacement of a missing tooth. At Stomatologia Pietrzyccy this final restoration is a full-ceramic crown, chosen for its tooth-like translucency and metal-free aesthetics, and is produced using the practice's digital CAD/CAM workflow so that shape, contacts and shade are tailored to the individual mouth.

The process begins with an individually shaped healing abutment that guides the gum tissue to form a natural collar around the implant, giving the crown a clean, lifelike emergence from the gumline. An intraoral scan captures the implant position and neighbouring teeth, and the crown is then designed and milled before being fitted and adjusted for a comfortable bite.
