About this treatment
A chemical peel applies a solution of one or more acids to the skin to loosen and remove dead surface cells and prompt renewal of fresher skin beneath. Depending on the active and strength, peels are associated with brighter, smoother skin, a more even tone, fewer blackheads and clogged pores, and a gradual improvement in pigmentation and the look of fine lines.
At Piękne Ciało the skin is cleansed and the chosen peel applied for a controlled time before being neutralised or removed; a session takes around twenty to forty minutes. Lighter peels cause little more than mild tingling and a touch of redness, while stronger or layered protocols can lead to a few days of flaking or light peeling as the skin renews.
