Mesotherapy at Petra Clinic delivers a customised cocktail of active substances — vitamins, minerals, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and optionally the patient's own plasma — directly into the mid-dermis through multiple fine microinjections. By bypassing the skin barrier, mesotherapy concentrates bioactive molecules at the site where fibroblasts, keratinocytes and microvascular endothelium are actively metabolising, producing improvements in hydration, skin quality, brightness and fine-line reduction that topical application cannot replicate. The specific cocktail is tailored by the physician to the individual's skin condition, age and goals. A course of two to three sessions per year maintains and advances the benefit.

Petra Clinic's mesotherapy protocol draws on the original French technique developed by Dr. Michel Pistor in the 1950s but uses contemporary microinjection equipment and pharmaceutical-grade cocktail preparations. The physician assesses the skin on the day of treatment and selects a base cocktail from the clinic's range of certified mesotherapy preparations — typically multi-vitamin complexes (B vitamins, C, E), hyaluronic acid in low-molecular-weight form for deep diffusion, amino acid profiles (glutathione, L-carnitine), and enzyme co-factors. An antioxidant component (N-acetylcysteine or glutathione) is included where photodamage and oxidative stress are primary concerns. For enhanced biostimulation, the clinic adds the patient's own PRP to the cocktail, creating a personalised hybrid serum that combines the growth-factor richness of platelet concentrate with the building-block nutrition of the cocktail. The mixture is drawn into a meso-injector or administered manually via a 30–32-gauge needle using the nappage (multiple shallow punctures) or point-by-point technique at depths of 1–2 mm in the mid-dermis. The full face, neck and décolletage each receive approximately 100–200 microinjections per session, which sounds intensive but at this depth and volume each injection is felt as a light prick with no anaesthetic required in most patients. The skin absorbs the active molecules over the following 48–72 hours; redness and micro-papule marks at injection sites resolve within this period. Clients leave with a soothing sheet mask and should avoid makeup for two days to prevent microchannel contamination. Hydration improvement is typically noticeable within a week; collagen-stimulation effects accumulate over a course. Petra Clinic recommends two to three mesotherapy sessions per year for maintenance of healthy middle-aged skin, or monthly sessions as part of a more intensive corrective programme. The treatment is well-established for pre-event skin preparation and is frequently combined with the Hollywood Peeling in the same visit — laser peel first, then mesotherapy applied topically over the opened channels to maximise absorption.
