This diagnostic step guides the composition of the injection cocktail and the placement technique (targeting the most affected scalp regions with higher concentration) and provides a photodocumented baseline for measuring treatment response. The cocktail used in hair mesotherapy contains a high-specificity combination of active ingredients: stem cell growth factors (typically derived from plant stem cells or applied as recombinant peptides) that stimulate follicular progenitor cell populations in the follicular bulge; DHT-blocking peptides to reduce the androgenic miniaturisation effect on susceptible follicles; a B-vitamin complex (biotin, niacinamide, panthenol) to support keratinocyte metabolism; zinc as a cofactor for 5α-reductase regulation; and hyaluronic acid to improve scalp microenvironmental hydration and oxygen delivery. Sessions are performed using a meso-injector or fine needle at a depth of 3–4 mm in the scalp dermis, which places active molecules at the suprabulbar follicular region.
