This closed-loop feedback prevents under- or over-treatment of variable skin layers, delivering a consistent thermal dose to the deep dermis regardless of regional skin thickness. Suitable for year-round use, the Genius Laser treats the face, neck and décolletage for wrinkles, skin laxity and scars, while its precision temperature management makes it safe across all skin phototypes. Expect approximately four days without makeup, versus the two days typical of standard MNRF.

The Genius Laser at Petra Clinic represents the current clinical standard in microneedle RF technology. While conventional MNRF devices deliver a fixed RF energy pulse to each needle-tip location, the Genius adds AEC (automatic energy control): piezoelectric sensors embedded in the handpiece measure electrical impedance in real time as the needles are in contact with tissue, and the system adjusts energy output during the same pulse to compensate for variations in dermis density, hydration and fat thickness. The result is reproducible dermal heating across areas where tissue properties change — for example, the thin skin of the periorbital area versus the thicker skin of the cheeks — without operator-dependent manual adjustments. Clinically, this translates into more uniform collagen stimulation and fewer under-treated or over-treated zones per session. The Genius delivers RF via insulated gold-plated 25- or 49-needle arrays at user-selected depths from 0.5 mm to 3.5 mm. Each location receives a discrete pulse of 0.3–1 second duration. Like other insulated MNRF devices, epidermal protection is maintained by the insulating shaft coating.
