Sculptra biostimulation at Perfect Visage uses injectable poly-L-lactic acid to stimulate the skin's own collagen production rather than simply filling lines. About this treatment
Sculptra is a collagen biostimulator based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material used in medicine for decades. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, which add volume directly, PLLA microparticles trigger a controlled regenerative response: fibroblasts in the dermis are stimulated to produce new type I collagen over the weeks following treatment. Sculptra is particularly suited to diffuse age-related volume loss in the cheeks, temples and lower face, skin laxity and crepey texture, and patients who prefer their results to develop discreetly over time. Because the effect builds with the body's own collagen, a course of two to three sessions spaced roughly six weeks apart is usually recommended; results then mature over three to six months and commonly last two years or longer.
At Perfect Visage each 9,000 Kč session is performed by MUDr. Tereza Kadeřábková using certified product. After injection the area is massaged to distribute the particles evenly, and patients are instructed in the standard '5-5-5' self-massage routine (five minutes, five times a day, for five days).
