Chemical Peel

A chemical peel works by applying a calibrated acid solution — commonly fruit acids (AHA such as glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid (BHA) or combination formulas — to dissolve the bonds between dead surface cells and trigger an organised renewal of the epidermis. As the old layer sheds, fresher, more evenly pigmented and smoother skin replaces it, and the mild controlled injury stimulates collagen production in the superficial dermis.

At Perfect Visage the peel formula and strength are selected at the in-person assessment according to skin type, sensitivity and goal: brightening dull or tired skin, softening fine lines, reducing acne and excess oil production, fading post-inflammatory marks and superficial pigmentation, or simply refreshing skin texture before an event. Each session costs 1,500 Kč.

A session takes around 30–45 minutes: cleansing, degreasing, acid application under supervision, neutralisation and a soothing finishing protocol. Depending on peel depth, the skin may be slightly pink for a day and flake lightly for several days; daily SPF is mandatory during the course.
