Priced from 5,950 CZK (approximately 238 EUR) per session, Lumecca IPL at Perfect Clinic is positioned between the entry-level IPL treatments available at beauty salons and the medical-grade laser treatments offered by specialist laser centres. It covers a clinically important middle ground: effective enough for genuine pigmentation correction and vascular lesion treatment, but without the cost, recovery time, or contraindications of ablative laser. For pigmentation concerns, Lumecca targets melanin in solar lentigines, freckles, seborrhoeic keratoses (early), and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The chromophore-selective absorption causes the melanin-containing cells to absorb the light energy disproportionately, creating localised thermal disruption that causes the pigmented lesions to darken and surface (the 'coffee grounds' effect) before shedding over seven to ten days. For vascular concerns — rosacea flush, spider veins, diffuse erythema — Lumecca targets oxyhaemoglobin in the dilated vessels, causing them to thermocoagulate and eventually be reabsorbed by the body.
