BodyTite RF-assisted liposuction (RFAL) from InMode adds a bipolar radiofrequency component to the liposuction procedure: an internal electrode at the tip of a specialised cannula delivers RF energy to the fat and fibroseptal network as the cannula moves through the tissue, while an external surface electrode provides the opposing energy pole. The resulting RF field simultaneously liquefies fat for easier aspiration and coagulates the fibrous connective tissue surrounding fat lobules, causing immediate tissue contraction and stimulating collagen remodelling for progressive skin tightening over the weeks following surgery — a meaningful advantage for patients with mild to moderate skin laxity where standard liposuction alone might leave redundant skin. Fat grafting can be incorporated into the same session: harvested fat is processed and reinjected into deficit areas such as the buttocks, breasts, or face to add volume using the patient's own tissue. Awake liposuction under tumescent local anesthesia is available for suitable small-area candidates who prefer to avoid general anesthesia.
