The Elite Health Screening at Peak Medical Clinic represents one of the most thorough single-visit health assessments available at a GP clinic in Singapore. Building on the full Advanced panel, it incorporates four additional investigations that materially expand the diagnostic scope beyond blood work alone. The nasal cancer marker (EBV VCA IgA) screens for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a cancer with notably elevated incidence among Singaporeans of Chinese ethnicity — early detection dramatically improves outcomes. The stool occult blood test (FOBT) is a non-invasive colorectal cancer screen recommended for adults over 50 by MOH guidelines and included here from earlier ages to catch occult gastrointestinal bleeding before it progresses. An electrocardiogram (ECG) records the electrical activity of the heart at rest, identifying arrhythmias, conduction abnormalities, and changes suggestive of prior ischaemia. The chest X-ray provides a structural view of the heart, lungs, and major thoracic vessels, flagging lung field abnormalities, cardiomegaly, and mediastinal masses. Together these bring the Elite package to a level of completeness that satisfies most corporate health screening requirements and MOH Well Women / Well Men programme recommendations.
