Root canal treatment saves a tooth whose inner pulp has become inflamed or infected by cleaning, disinfecting and sealing the root canals. PARKOWA carries out endodontics under a dental microscope for better visibility of the fine canal anatomy, which supports a thorough result. The price depends on how many canals the tooth has; molars with more canals sit at the upper end of the range. The tooth is often restored with a crown afterwards.
About this treatment
Root canal (endodontic) treatment is used to save a tooth when the soft tissue inside it — the pulp — becomes inflamed or infected, for example through deep decay, a crack or trauma. The dentist removes the damaged pulp, carefully cleans and shapes the narrow canals inside the roots, disinfects them and then seals them to prevent further infection, allowing the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted.
