About this treatment
The Advanced Screen Package is a comprehensive eleven‑test STI panel that uses a single blood or urine draw to assess a wide range of infections: HIV (Current), HBsAg, Hepatitis C (anti‑HCV), Treponema pallidum, Mycoplasma genitalium, Trichomonas vaginalis, Gardnerella vaginalis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Ureaplasma and Herpes Simplex. At £326, the package includes specimen collection, laboratory analysis of all eleven markers, and a detailed clinician‑reviewed report. This extensive panel may support thorough sexual health evaluation for those with multiple risk factors or requiring an all‑in‑one screen.

Biomarkers tested
7Gardnerella vaginalis is part of the normal vaginal microbiota, but in some cases it can overgrow and cause an infection called bacterial vaginosis (BV) with symptoms such as abnormal vaginal discharge, odour, itching, and pain during sex or urination.
Detects antibodies to hepatitis C virus, indicating current or past infection. A positive result requires confirmatory RNA testing. Hepatitis C is now curable with direct-acting antiviral medications in most patients.
Detects HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies and/or p24 antigen. Fourth-generation tests can detect infection as early as 2–4 weeks after exposure. Early detection enables treatment that can achieve viral suppression and prevent transmission.
Bacteria infecting the genital and urinary tract; can cause urethritis, cervicitis, and PID.
Syphilis IgG/IgM; results are POSITIVE or NEGATIVE
Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted infection that may cause a yellowy green, ‘frothy’ discharge that is often accompanied by an unpleasant odour and vaginal or vulval itching.
