What's included

5 deliverables in this treatment

  • 60-minute hyperbaric oxygen therapy session
  • Soft-shell chamber pressurised to 1.5–1.8 ATA
  • 96–97% oxygen concentration via oxygen concentrator (up to 10 L/min)
  • Guided compression, isocompression, and decompression phases
  • Initial guidance on recommended session frequency and course length

OxyOlomouc offers 60-minute hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions in a soft-shell chamber pressurised to 1.5–1.8 ATA, with an oxygen concentrator raising the breathing-air oxygen concentration from the usual 21% to 96–97%. Breathing high-concentration oxygen under increased pressure raises the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood plasma, which the studio associates with faster recovery, improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and better physical and cognitive performance. Each session runs through three phases — compression, isocompression, and decompression — and clients are advised to equalise mild ear pressure by yawning or swallowing during pressurisation. The studio recommends an initial course of 5–10 consecutive sessions, after which it advises on frequency and total session count. Sessions can be bought singly or in discounted packs of 5, 10, 15, or 20. OxyOlomouc is a wellness studio rather than a medical facility, and clients with existing conditions are advised to consult their physician before booking.

About this treatment

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing oxygen-enriched air inside a sealed chamber held at a pressure higher than normal atmospheric pressure. At OxyOlomouc the chamber reaches 1.5–1.8 ATA (atmospheres absolute), and an oxygen concentrator filters ambient air to deliver 96–97% oxygen — up to 10 litres per minute — into the chamber. The physiological rationale rests on Henry's law: raising the partial pressure of oxygen increases the volume of oxygen…

The session

Clients enter the chamber in comfortable, loose clothing. Once sealed, the concentrator and compressor pressurise the chamber. The procedure has three phases — compression (pressure rising, mild ear pressure, air warms by roughly 3–5 °C), isocompression (the target pressure is held for the main part of the session), and decompression (pressure is released back to atmospheric and the air cools slightly). A session lasts 60 minutes. During compression…
