PRP Mesotherapy — Face + Neck

An autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) mesotherapy treatment for the face and neck. The patient's own blood is drawn, centrifuged to concentrate growth factors, and microinjected into the skin to stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration.

PRP mesotherapy at OT.CO Clinic harnesses the patient's own blood-derived growth factors to stimulate skin rejuvenation from within. The treatment begins with a standard venous blood draw of 15-20ml from the patient's arm. This blood is placed into specialised tubes and centrifuged at controlled speeds to separate the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells and platelet-poor plasma. The resulting PRP concentrate contains 3-5 times the normal concentration of platelets and their associated growth factors — including PDGF, TGF-beta, VEGF, and EGF. The concentrated PRP is then microinjected across the face and neck using a mesotherapy technique — multiple shallow injections at the dermal level spaced approximately 1cm apart. Some practitioners at OT.CO also use a microneedling device to deliver the PRP, combining the mechanical stimulation of microneedling with the biological stimulus of the growth factor concentrate. Both approaches achieve effective dermal delivery. Once in the tissue, the platelets activate and release their growth factor payload over the following days. These growth factors act as biological signals that recruit fibroblasts to the treatment area, stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis, promote angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation), and enhance the skin's natural repair mechanisms. The result is a gradual improvement in skin quality — firmness, hydration, elasticity, and luminosity — that develops over 4-8 weeks. Because PRP is derived entirely from the patient's own blood, there is zero risk of allergic reaction or rejection. Post-treatment effects are limited to mild redness and pinpoint injection marks that resolve within 24-48 hours.
