A porcelain veneer is a thin, custom-made ceramic shell bonded to the front of a tooth to improve its shape, colour and alignment. At OrthoTeam veneers are used to close small gaps, mask discoloured or worn front teeth, and create a more even, harmonious smile line. Each veneer is individually crafted to match the surrounding teeth, and treatment is planned tooth by tooth so the result looks natural and proportionate.

Treatment usually spans two stages. At the first visit the tooth is assessed and a small amount of enamel may be gently prepared so the veneer sits flush, after which impressions or a digital scan are taken and sent to the laboratory; a temporary may be placed in the meantime.
