The implant crown is the final, visible part of a dental implant — a custom-made ceramic tooth fixed onto an implant post to replace a missing tooth. At OrthoTeam the crown is fabricated to match the shape and colour of the neighbouring teeth and secured to the integrated implant via an abutment, restoring natural chewing function and appearance. It is the restorative stage that follows implant placement and healing, planned with in-house CBCT imaging.

About this treatment

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth in two functional parts: a titanium post that is placed into the jawbone and acts as an artificial root, and a crown that sits on top to restore the visible tooth. This treatment covers the implant crown — the custom ceramic restoration that is made and fitted once the implant has integrated with the bone.
