Red Light Therapy — Face (LED)

The facial red light therapy at One Thirty Labs uses a dedicated LED device positioned at close range to the face, delivering concentrated red and near-infrared wavelengths to facial tissue for 30 minutes. The proximity of the light source and the extended duration compared to the full-body panel (10 minutes) allows for a higher total energy dose to the facial skin.

Facial photobiomodulation has been studied for its effects on collagen and elastin production, skin hydration, fine line reduction, wound healing, and overall skin tone. The proposed mechanism centres on mitochondrial stimulation in dermal fibroblasts — the cells responsible for producing collagen and maintaining the structural matrix of the skin. By enhancing cellular energy production, red light may support the skin's natural regenerative processes.

At 395 DKK for a 30-minute session, the facial LED treatment is priced above the full-body red light (195 DKK for 10 minutes) but below the regenerative skin treatments such as PRP facials (1,995 DKK). It occupies a middle ground as a non-invasive, no-downtime facial treatment that can be incorporated into a regular skincare routine.
