MRI Scan

Type

MRI Scan

Duration

45 min

Advanced MRI diagnostic imaging across all major body regions — orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, brain, neuro, spine, and whole-body — performed by US fellowship-trained radiologists using one of Singapore's most advanced MRI systems.

OHM Diagnostic Imaging operates Singapore's leading private MRI network, offering high-field MRI scanning for orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, neurological assessment, and whole-body diagnostics. Each scan is performed on advanced MRI equipment — equivalent to or surpassing the systems found in Singapore's major public hospitals — and reported by radiologists who have completed subspecialty fellowship training in the United States. The clinic's musculoskeletal MRI programme covers the full range of joints and limbs: knee (meniscal tears, ligament injuries, cartilage), shoulder (rotator cuff, labrum, AC joint), elbow (medial and lateral ligament, epicondyle), wrist and hand (TFCC, scaphoid fractures, tendon pathology), hip, foot and ankle (Achilles, peroneal tendons, plantar fascia). Spine MRI covers cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions for disc prolapse, nerve root compression, spondylolisthesis, and degenerative changes. Brain and neurological MRI at OHM assesses stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, tumours, and headache workup. The clinic also performs body MRI for soft-tissue tumours, bone tumours, and selected abdominal pathology. For patients with metallic implants or prior surgical hardware, OHM uses metal artifact reduction sequences (MARS) to optimise image quality. Referrals are accepted from GPs, orthopaedic and hand surgeons, physiotherapists, pain specialists, neurosurgeons, and rheumatologists. The clinic is on the insurance panels of Cigna, Bupa, Adept, and Aviva. With five locations across Novena, Orchard (two sites), and i12 Katong (open until 9 pm on weekdays), OHM offers Singapore's most accessible private MRI service for both urgent and elective imaging.
