Blepharoplasty at OB CARE removes excess skin and protruding fat pads from the upper or lower eyelids to correct hooded lids, a tired appearance, and under-eye bags. Upper-lid surgery is typically performed under local anaesthesia as a day procedure; combined upper-and-lower correction is done in one session from 35,000 Kč. Incisions are placed in the natural lid crease (upper) or just below the lash line (lower), making mature scars practically invisible. The procedure is performed by plastic surgeon MUDr. Martin Skála in a hospital-grade facility, and for patients seeking a non-surgical alternative for mild skin excess, the clinic also offers Plexr plasma eyelid treatment.

About this treatment

Eyelid skin is the thinnest on the body and often the first area to show visible ageing — hooding of the upper lids that can eventually weigh on the lashes and narrow the visual field, and fat protrusion under the eyes that creates permanent bags regardless of sleep. Blepharoplasty directly removes the excess skin and repositions or removes the protruding fat, producing one of the highest satisfaction-to-downtime ratios of any facial procedure.

Upper blepharoplasty (from 18,000 Kč)

Through an incision hidden in the natural lid crease, the surgeon removes a measured strip of excess skin and, where needed, a small amount of muscle and fat. The procedure takes under an hour, is usually done under local anaesthesia, and patients go home the same day.
