FaceTite (RF Facial & Neck Tightening)

Type

Skin Tightening

Duration

2 hours

FaceTite uses bipolar radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to tighten facial skin and address neck laxity with a minimally invasive approach. A 1–2 mm micro-incision admits a thin internal electrode while an external electrode presses against the skin surface, creating a controlled RF field that coagulates fat and stimulates dermal collagen remodelling. Sessions run thirty minutes to four hours depending on zones treated.

FaceTite by InMode applies the same RFAL bipolar radiofrequency technology as BodyTite but with a thinner, more delicate cannula system scaled for the face, neck, and perioral region. A small 1–2 mm micro-incision in a discreet location (typically within the hairline, below the chin, or at natural skin creases) admits the internal electrode — a fine cannula tipped with a bipolar RF emitter. The external electrode is pressed flat against the skin surface directly over the treatment zone, completing the bipolar circuit. As the internal probe is passed through the subdermal fat layer, the controlled RF field heats adipose tissue and the undersurface of the dermis to therapeutic temperatures, triggering thermal coagulation of fat (which the body then clears over weeks) and simultaneous dermal coagulation that causes immediate tissue contraction and stimulates progressive collagen remodelling over three to six months. Unlike surgical face-lifting, which requires extensive incisions, general anaesthesia, and significant recovery, FaceTite is performed under local anaesthesia or twilight sedation and produces its lifting and tightening result through dermal collagen contraction rather than excision and skin redistribution. The technique is particularly well-suited to patients with mild to moderate jowling, neck laxity, submental fullness, nasolabial fullness, and loose lower-cheek skin who are not yet candidates for surgical facelift or who wish to delay or reduce the extent of surgical intervention. The built-in continuous impedance monitoring and cutaneous temperature sensors prevent over-treatment and protect the surface epidermis. Session duration ranges from thirty minutes for a single focal zone to four hours for comprehensive multi-zone facial treatment. Mild swelling, bruising, and firmness of the treated skin are expected for two to three weeks post-procedure.
