Micronutrient Panel
Duration
30 min
Advanced micronutrient and nutritional deficiency testing measuring vitamins, minerals, amino acids, omega-3 status, and functional markers — assessed by Dr Menka Gupta to identify hidden deficiencies driving fatigue, poor immunity, and suboptimal cellular performance.
Many of the most common health complaints — persistent fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, low mood, impaired immunity, and slow recovery from illness or exercise — have correctable nutritional roots that standard GP blood tests consistently fail to detect. NutraNourish's Nutritional Deficiency and Micronutrient Panel uses advanced testing methods to identify not just frank deficiencies but functional insufficiencies: states where nutrient levels technically fall within the broad normal range but are insufficient for optimal cellular function. The panel covers the full spectrum of clinically significant micronutrients. Fat-soluble vitamins assessed include vitamin D (25-OH and 1,25-OH), vitamin A, vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol), and vitamin K2 — the latter critical for calcium metabolism and cardiovascular protection yet absent from almost all standard panels. Water-soluble vitamins include the full B complex: B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin), B9 (methylfolate and total folate), and B12 (methylcobalamin and total cobalamin), alongside vitamin C. Essential minerals assessed include magnesium (serum and where available intracellular), zinc, selenium, copper, iodine, manganese, chromium, and molybdenum. An omega-3 index (EPA + DHA as a percentage of total red blood cell fatty acids) indicates cardiovascular and neurological protection status — a marker profoundly influential on inflammation, brain health, and mood that is almost never measured in conventional practice. Amino acid profiling, where selected, identifies insufficiencies in the building blocks required for neurotransmitter synthesis (tryptophan, tyrosine, phenylalanine), muscle repair, and immune function. Coenzyme Q10 and glutathione may be assessed for mitochondrial and antioxidant status. Dr Menka reviews all results in a detailed consultation and produces a targeted supplementation protocol specifying the most bioavailable forms, effective doses, and optimal timing for each nutrient — alongside dietary modifications to support lasting replenishment.
