Anti-Aging & Longevity Panel
Duration
1 hour
Nutramed's anti-ageing and longevity blood panel assesses key biological age markers including oxidative stress, inflammation, metabolic health, hormonal balance, and micronutrient status to guide a personalised healthy ageing programme.
Nutramed Clinic's Anti-Ageing and Longevity Panel is designed for individuals who want to move beyond basic health screening and gain a deep, evidence-based understanding of how their body is ageing at a biological level. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in integrative and nutritional medicine, the clinic's physicians construct bespoke longevity panels that go well beyond standard GP blood tests to identify the subclinical markers most associated with accelerated ageing and age-related disease risk. The longevity panel typically encompasses inflammatory markers such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and homocysteine — elevated levels of which are strongly linked to cardiovascular disease, cognitive decline, and systemic inflammation. Oxidative stress markers may include glutathione levels and 8-OHdG (8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine), a marker of DNA oxidative damage. Metabolic markers include fasting insulin and HOMA-IR for insulin resistance, HbA1c, and advanced lipid fractionation beyond standard LDL/HDL ratios. Hormonal components of the longevity panel assess the key axes governing energy, body composition, libido, sleep quality, and cognitive function. Depending on the patient's age and presenting profile, this may include DHEA-S, cortisol (morning serum or 4-point salivary), free and total testosterone, oestradiol, progesterone, sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), IGF-1 (as a proxy for growth hormone axis activity), and thyroid panel (TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3). Micronutrient and co-factor status is also assessed, with particular attention to vitamin D (25-OH), magnesium (RBC), B12, folate, iron studies, and omega-3 index — all of which have direct implications for cellular energy production, immune regulation, and cognitive ageing. Where clinically indicated, the panel may be extended to include telomere length testing, mitochondrial function markers, or specialised genetic markers. Following the panel, patients receive a comprehensive consultation in which the physician interprets results within the context of their full health history, lifestyle factors, and longevity goals. A personalised protocol is then developed, which may incorporate targeted supplementation, dietary modifications, sleep and stress optimisation strategies, and — where clinically appropriate — hormonal support or IV micronutrient therapy. Repeat testing at six to twelve month intervals allows patients and their physician to track the impact of interventions and refine protocols over time.
