Halo combines a 1470 nm non-ablative wavelength with a 2940 nm ablative wavelength in a single pass, enabling simultaneous deep collagen remodelling and superficial epidermal renewal. The result is improved skin tone, reduced hyperpigmentation, finer pores, and smoother texture with a shorter recovery time than fully ablative CO2 treatments alone.
CO2 laser resurfacing is offered for patients seeking more aggressive correction of deep wrinkles, acne scars, or significant photodamage. The ablative CO2 wavelength vaporises the outer layers of skin precisely, stimulating significant collagen synthesis during healing. This approach is particularly effective for perioral wrinkles, surgical scars, and sun-damaged skin that has not responded to milder treatments.
