Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and microneedling treatments at Next Health West Hollywood for facial skin regeneration, hair restoration, and combined PRP-plus-microneedling protocols. PRP is prepared from a same-session blood draw and centrifuge separation. Microneedling with hyaluronic acid and microneedling with AnteAGE stem cell growth factors are also available. Pricing on consultation.
Next Health West Hollywood's aesthetics menu includes Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy as a standalone treatment and in combination with microneedling, offering three distinct application pathways: facial PRP injection for skin rejuvenation, PRP for hair restoration (scalp injection protocol), and PRP as a topical adjunct infused during microneedling. PRP is prepared from the patient's own blood in a same-session protocol: approximately 20–60 ml of blood is drawn by venepuncture, then centrifuged at a controlled speed and duration to separate the blood fractions by density. The resulting PRP fraction contains a concentrated layer of platelets — typically 3–5 times the baseline platelet concentration — along with growth factors they carry including PDGF, TGF-β, IGF-1, VEGF, and EGF. These growth factors are potent signalling molecules that trigger fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, angiogenesis, and tissue repair when introduced to the target tissue. For facial rejuvenation, PRP is injected intradermally across the face in a micro-injection pattern, targeting areas of thin skin, fine lines, and loss of elasticity. For hair restoration, PRP is injected into the scalp at the dermal-hypodermal junction across the thinning zone, where it may support follicle health and prolong the anagen (active growth) phase. For microneedling, Next Health offers two options: microneedling with hyaluronic acid (for hydration and barrier support) and microneedling with AnteAGE — a proprietary stem cell-derived growth factor complex that is applied topically and driven transdermally into the microchannels created by the needling device. Both protocols enhance the skin remodelling response initiated by the mechanical micro-injury of needling. Sessions run approximately 45–75 minutes depending on protocol. Pricing is on consultation.
