Duration
30 min
A comprehensive baseline blood panel covering essential biomarkers for metabolic health, thyroid function, inflammation, nutrient levels, and organ function. Results are reviewed by Next Health's clinical team with personalised recommendations.
Next Health's Baseline Blood Test is a comprehensive blood draw and laboratory analysis covering the foundational biomarkers that inform overall health status. The panel includes markers for metabolic function (fasting glucose, HbA1c, insulin), lipid health (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides), thyroid performance (TSH, free T3, free T4), inflammation (CRP, ESR), liver and kidney function, complete blood count, and key nutrient levels including vitamin D, B12, folate, and iron studies. The blood draw itself takes approximately 15 minutes and is performed by trained phlebotomists at the clinic. Samples are sent to a CLIA-certified laboratory for processing, with results typically available within five to seven business days. Once results are in, Next Health's clinical team reviews the data and prepares a personalised summary highlighting any values outside optimal ranges, trends worth monitoring, and actionable recommendations. This panel is designed as a health baseline — the starting point from which future changes can be measured. For clients who have never had comprehensive bloodwork beyond a standard annual physical, the Baseline Blood Test reveals a significantly broader picture of metabolic, hormonal, and nutritional health. It can uncover subclinical deficiencies, early insulin resistance, thyroid imbalances, and inflammatory markers that standard primary care panels often omit. The test pairs naturally with Next Health's IV therapy services: once bloodwork identifies specific deficiencies, IV formulations can be selected to address those gaps directly. Many clients use the Baseline Blood Test as a first step in a longer-term wellness plan, retesting every six to twelve months to track progress against interventions. Fasting for 10-12 hours is recommended for the most accurate metabolic and lipid readings. Morning appointments are ideal.
