NAD+ intravenous therapy at Next Health Bellevue delivers nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide — a coenzyme central to cellular energy metabolism — directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the limited oral bioavailability of NAD+ precursors and achieving plasma NAD+ concentrations that cannot be reliably attained through supplementation alone. NAD+ is a critical cofactor in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, where it shuttles electrons between metabolic reactions to generate ATP — the cell's primary energy currency. Beyond energy metabolism, NAD+ is a substrate for sirtuin deacylase enzymes (SIRT1–7), which regulate gene expression, DNA repair fidelity, stress response pathways, and circadian rhythm entrainment — all processes associated with cellular longevity.
