MRI of a single spine section — cervical (C1-C7). Evaluates discs, spinal cord, nerve roots, and facet joints. No contrast required for standard examination.
The cervical spine MRI at NewMedical images the seven cervical vertebrae, intervertebral discs from C2-C3 through C7-T1, the spinal cord, exiting nerve roots, and ligamentous structures. Standard sagittal and axial T1- and T2-weighted sequences plus STIR for marrow oedema provide comprehensive assessment of the cervical region. The radiologist systematically documents disc bulges, protrusions, and herniations at each level, grades foraminal and central canal stenosis, evaluates spinal cord signal for myelopathic changes, and notes facet joint arthropathy. STIR sequences detect acute compression fractures and inflammatory enthesopathy. At 590 PLN per single spine section, NewMedical offers one of the more affordable spine MRI options in Kraków. The same price applies to thoracic and lumbar spine sections. Patients needing multiple sections can benefit from the two-section package at 1,190 PLN or the full spine package at 1,690 PLN.
