MR angiography (MRA) uses the MRI scanner's sensitivity to flowing blood to map vessels without catheters, radiation or — in the time-of-flight technique used for cerebral studies — any contrast injection at all. **What is examined:** Neurofyzionet performs intracranial and extracranial MRA, covering the carotid and vertebral arteries in the neck, the cerebral arteries including the circle of Willis, and the venous sinuses. Typical indications include screening for unruptured aneurysms (particularly with a family history), suspected carotid or vertebral artery stenosis after transient neurological symptoms, work-up of pulsatile tinnitus, and suspected cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. **No contrast needed:** Cerebral MRA at the centre is performed without contrast agent — flowing blood itself provides the signal — which removes contrast-related risks and, for self-pay patients, means the flat 3,000 Kč regional rate typically applies without surcharge. **Neurology-led setting:** Because Neurofyzionet is primarily a neurology group, MRA sits within a complete diagnostic pathway: its neurologists also perform ultrasound of the cerebral arteries (neurosonology), EEG and EMG, and can correlate vascular imaging findings with clinical assessment in the same IBC complex. **Practicalities:** A physician referral specifying the examination is required.
