Self-pay brain MRI at Neurofyzionet's dedicated MRI centre in the IBC building in central Brno, at a published flat rate of 3,000 Kč per region with the radiologist's report and imaging on CD or flash drive included. The centre scans the brain, orbits, pituitary gland and posterior fossa, and runs extended hours — weekdays until 22:00 and Saturday mornings — which keeps self-pay waiting times short compared with hospital radiology departments. The decision to administer contrast (an additional 2,000 Kč) is always made by the reporting radiologist. A referral from a treating physician specifying the examined region is required, reflecting standard Czech radiology practice.
About this treatment
Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain is the reference standard for investigating persistent headaches, suspected demyelinating disease, vertigo, visual disturbances, pituitary disorders and other neurological symptoms — without ionising radiation. What is covered
The brain MRI spectrum at the centre includes standard brain protocols, orbits, pituitary studies (performed with contrast), the posterior fossa and paranasal sinuses (PND). The radiologist on duty decides whether contrast enhancement is clinically indicated.
