Self-pay brain MRI at Neurofyzionet's dedicated MRI centre in the IBC building in central Brno, at a published flat rate of 3,000 Kč per region with the radiologist's report and imaging on CD or flash drive included. The centre scans the brain, orbits, pituitary gland and posterior fossa, and runs extended hours — weekdays until 22:00 and Saturday mornings — which keeps self-pay waiting times short compared with hospital radiology departments. The decision to administer contrast (an additional 2,000 Kč) is always made by the reporting radiologist. A referral from a treating physician specifying the examined region is required, reflecting standard Czech radiology practice.

Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain is the reference standard for investigating persistent headaches, suspected demyelinating disease, vertigo, visual disturbances, pituitary disorders and other neurological symptoms — without ionising radiation. Neurofyzionet opened its own MRI department in October 2023 on the ground floor of the IBC building at Příkop 4, directly connected to its neurology clinics one floor up, so imaging findings can feed straight into specialist neurological care. **What is covered:** The brain MRI spectrum at the centre includes standard brain protocols, orbits, pituitary studies (performed with contrast), the posterior fossa and paranasal sinuses (PND). The radiologist on duty decides whether contrast enhancement is clinically indicated. **Self-pay process:** Unusually transparent for Czech radiology, Neurofyzionet publishes a flat self-pay tariff: 3,000 Kč per examined organ or region, with contrast application charged at 2,000 Kč extra where needed. The price includes the radiologist's written report (popis) and your images on CD or flash drive. You need a referral from any treating physician — a GP, neurologist or other specialist — specifying the region to be scanned; the clinic's own neurologists can also assess and refer where clinically appropriate. **The examination:** A brain scan typically takes 15–30 minutes inside the scanner. You lie still on the examination table while the machine acquires image sequences; the staff communicate with you throughout via an intercom. Remove all metal items beforehand and inform staff of any implants, pacemakers or claustrophobia when booking — preparation guidance is published on the clinic's website. **Hours and access:** The MRI department runs Monday–Friday 7:00–22:00 and Saturday 7:00–15:00.
