An MRI of the shoulder joint that images the rotator cuff tendons, labrum, joint capsule, cartilage and surrounding bone without radiation. It is commonly used for shoulder pain, weakness, restricted movement and suspected rotator cuff or labral injury. About this treatment
Shoulder MRI provides a detailed look at the complex soft-tissue anatomy of the shoulder, including the four rotator cuff tendons, the labrum that deepens the socket, the joint capsule and ligaments, the cartilage surfaces and the surrounding bone and bursae.
