The procedure takes ten to fifteen minutes per session and requires no general anaesthesia. Target areas include the double chin, neck, lower face, and lower or upper abdomen. Multiple sessions spaced four to six weeks apart typically produce the best fat reduction and contouring outcome.
About this treatment
Injectable lipolysis works through deoxycholic acid or phosphatidylcholine-based solutions that, when injected into subcutaneous fat tissue, disrupt adipocyte (fat cell) membranes. Once the membrane is compromised, the lipid contents of the cells are released and progressively eliminated through the lymphatic and metabolic pathways over several weeks.
At Neo Beauty Clinic, the physician performs a medical consultation before any lipolysis session to confirm that the target area is suitable — the technique is most effective on localised, palpable fat deposits where skin quality is still good (i.e., not significantly lax). It is not a weight loss treatment but a body contouring tool.
