Root canal (endodontic) treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and disinfects the canal system and seals it, allowing a tooth that would otherwise need extraction to be kept. NB Dental performs endodontics under a microscope for magnified, well-lit access to the fine canal anatomy. Pricing reflects how many canals the tooth has, and the clinic also offers retreatment of teeth that were root-filled previously but have flared up again.
About this treatment
Root canal treatment addresses the soft tissue (the pulp) inside a tooth when it becomes infected or irreversibly inflamed, typically through deep decay, a crack or trauma. Left untreated this can cause pain and abscess and usually leads to losing the tooth. NB Dental carries out endodontics with the aid of a dental microscope, which provides high magnification and focused illumination of the root canal system. This makes it easier to locate all the canals, including fine or curved ones, to clean them thoroughly and to manage more demanding cases. Root canal treatment priced by the number of canals: single-canal tooth from 900 zł, two-canal from 1,250 zł, three-canal from 1,800 zł, and four or more canals from 2,000 zł. Retreatment of a previously treated tooth is from 1,150 zł. A direct fibre-reinforced rebuild of the tooth afterwards is from 580 zł.
