A specialist dermatology consultation at the National Skin Centre provides patients with access to Singapore's most experienced public dermatology team. NSC's clinicians — comprising Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Associate Consultants — manage the full breadth of dermatological conditions, from common presentations such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and fungal infections to complex autoimmune skin diseases, contact dermatitis, and rare dermatological syndromes. For first consultations, non-subsidised fees range from SGD 150.50 (Associate Consultant) to SGD 188.50 (Senior Consultant). Follow-up consultations range from SGD 110.00 to SGD 145.40. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for subsidised rates, with citizens paying SGD 28.60–66.73 for a first visit depending on means-testing. Additional fees apply for investigations, procedures, and medications. NSC operates several General Clinics as well as Subspecialty Clinics covering areas such as contact dermatitis, hair and scalp disorders, nail disorders, paediatric dermatology, and skin cancer. Patients are typically referred by a polyclinic or general practitioner for subsidised access, though self-referral at non-subsidised rates is also available. All consultations are conducted by MOH-registered specialist dermatologists. The centre's high patient volumes and institutional research programmes ensure clinical practice is grounded in current evidence. For complex cases, NSC's multidisciplinary structure allows rapid access to related subspecialty services, laboratory testing, and surgical procedures within the same facility.
