The Infinite Thread lift offered through myMedical Prague is a minimally invasive lifting procedure using permanent suspension threads to reposition sagging tissue of the face and neck without the incisions and downtime of a full surgical facelift. Performed by partner plastic surgeons under local anaesthesia, threads are anchored in stable tissue and lift the cheeks, jawline or neck, with results visible immediately and tissue support that outlasts dissolvable thread systems. It suits patients with mild-to-moderate laxity who want a meaningful lift without surgical scars, or those not ready for a facelift.
About this treatment
Thread lifting bridges the gap between injectables and surgical facelifting. Where dissolvable PDO threads typically relapse within 12–18 months, the Infinite® thread system used by myMedical Prague's partner surgeons employs permanent suspension threads with anchoring points, designed to deliver a longer-lasting reposition of ptotic (sagging) tissue.
How it works
Under local anaesthesia, the surgeon introduces fine threads through small entry points hidden in the hairline or behind the ear. Tiny cogs or anchoring features along the thread engage the subcutaneous tissue; the surgeon then gently draws the tissue upward and fixes the thread to stable structures. Preparation required
Avoid blood-thinning medication and alcohol for several days before the procedure (as advised). Arrive with a clean face, no makeup. Plan to avoid intense exercise, saunas and dental work for 2 weeks afterwards.
