Lip Lift (Bullhorn)

Unlike fillers it adds no volume artificially and never needs repeating, making it ideal for patients whose upper lip has lengthened and thinned with age. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia in about an hour, with the fine scar concealed in the shadow at the base of the nose.

With age, the skin between the nose and upper lip (the philtrum) lengthens — the upper lip thins, rolls inward, and less of the pink lip and teeth show when the mouth is relaxed. Filler cannot correct this; adding volume to an elongated lip can in fact worsen the proportions.
