Native 3.0T MRI of the neck covering soft tissues, lymph nodes, thyroid region, and salivary glands. Evaluation for masses, lymphadenopathy, and inflammatory conditions.
The neck MRI at MyDiagnostic provides high-resolution imaging of the cervical soft tissues using the 3.0 Tesla scanner. The examination covers the pharyngeal and parapharyngeal spaces, major salivary glands (parotid and submandibular), thyroid and parathyroid region, cervical lymph node chains, and the carotid and jugular vascular sheaths. Common indications include characterisation of palpable neck masses, evaluation of cervical lymphadenopathy, salivary gland pathology, thyroid lesion assessment when ultrasound is inconclusive, and post-treatment surveillance for head and neck malignancies. The 3T field strength provides improved spatial resolution for small-structure imaging compared to lower-field systems. Priced at EUR 330 as a single-region native scan. Gadolinium contrast enhancement is available as a EUR 60 add-on when dynamic contrast sequences are needed for mass characterisation.
